Andreas is currently Lustre CTO and Principal Lustre Architect in the Whamcloud Division at DDN. Andreas has been a primary developer and designer of Lustre since its early inception in 1999, and has been working on it at ever since then, at Cluster File Systems, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Whamcloud, Intel, and DDN. Since 1997, Andreas has also been an active ext2/3/4 developer and is currently one of the maintainers of the ext4 filesystem.
