Shuichi Ihara is Senior manager, Advanced Solution Laboratory at DDN. He joined DDN in 2010 and opened benchmark center lab. He ran many IO and application benchmark on the Lustre filesystem and optimize configuration to maxim Lustre performance out. He has now several roles at DDN, the primary responsibility are I/O benchmarking, performance optimization, manager of Lustre development team and senior architect at DDN. Before joins DDN, he was been working at Sun Microsystem for 10 years. He has more than 10 years HPC experiences and involved and deployed many large HPC systems in the world.
