Lustre User Group 2003
The first annual Lustre User Group meeting was held July 29-30, 2003 in Richland, Washington.
The Lustre User Group was founded by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory to promote the use of the open source Lustre file system for HPTC and scalable IO. The laboratories are working to develop a community knowledge base of best practices that make Lustre implementations successful. They also will provide direct feedback to the development community on current issues and future needs. There will presentations from users, from Cluster File Systems and other vendors working on solutions based on Lustre and products designed to work with Lustre.
The registration deadline is June 9th.

About the Lustre User Group
The Lustre User Group promotes the use of the open source Lustre file system for HPTC and scalable IO. Meetings
The first meeting will be July 29-30, 2003, in the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) at PNNL. EMSL is a U.S. Department of Energy user facility and home to an 11.5 TFLOP HP supercomputer with a 53 TB Lustre configuration.
Registration
Although the meeting is open to all interested parties, you must complete and submit the registration form (Word 3KB, PDF 20KB). If you are not a U.S. citizen, the Foreign National Visits and Assignments questionnaire (Word 78KB , PDF 17KB) must also be completed and submitted along with your registration form. Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible.

Accommodations
A block of rooms has been reserved at The Red Lion in Richland, Washington. Rooms are rates are set at gov't. per diem—$55.00 a night for single occupancy, $70.00 a night for double occupancy. Reservations must be made no later than July 7, 2003. Please refer to the Lustre User Group when making reservations.
