Cluster File Systems will host the third annual Lustre User Group meeting on March 7th and 8th in Snowbird, UT

The Lustre User Group was founded by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory to promote the use of the open source Lustre file system for HPC and scalable IO. The annual meeting is an opportunity for current and prospective Lustre users to share and develop best practices, to provide direct feedback to the development team at CFS, and to receive an update on our plans for the coming year.

We expect that there will be presentations from users, CFS, and our vendor partners. If you have a topic of general interest to present at the meeting, and would like to reserve a time slot, please send email to [email protected]

The target attendees for this meeting are those actively involved in Lustre or seriously considering a Lustre deployment.

CFS has reserved a block of discounted rooms at the conference hotel. Please note that there may be a limited number of rooms available, so we encourage you to book early.

All details can be found at http://www.clusterfs.com/lustre2005.html

The registration deadline is February 7th, 2005.

Agenda Update: The agenda is intentionally still somewhat open. Please let us know what else you'd like to see in the program, and we'll do our best to accommodate the most popular requests; there should be time to cover three, or perhaps four, additional topics. Or, if you have something of general interest to present at the meeting, and would like to reserve a time slot, please send email to [email protected].
